Working on tons of new paintings for three upcoming exhibits. I currently am working on several different series of paintings. Lots of grids but also some really crusty paintings have appeared recently in the studio made with sand and other materials to provide texture. These images show much of my current working process which include traditional easel painting with more modern approaches such as leaning and working on the floor. Next exhibit will be at Washington Co-op Gallery, Duluth MN. in September.

New studio pics:
I am busy working on some new exhibits. This is my studio. I am working on mostly small work while I await my order from Utrecht. I am working on some stripe and grid paintings but as always old/new ideas lay all around me as I work. These paintings are still in the prototype stages. Ultimately it is my hope that I will be transferring this ideas into a larger format. Some of these paintings in these shots have already been abandoned/repainted. These shots also show my work space where I am masking a painting and so forth. Many of these paintings are in there beginning or middle stages the large painting towards the end is about 75% done.
